Shopify x Represent (Directors Cut)

Shopify x Represent is a film we created to showcase how the brand uses Shopify to power its global retail and ecommerce operation. Shot across Los Angeles and Bolton, the project reflects Represent’s dual identity—rooted in the North of England with a strong presence in the US—and captures the scale and attitude of the brand in both locations.

Creatively, we leaned into a raw, urban aesthetic to mirror Represent’s gritty, street-led energy. The film blends mixed media throughout, layering hand-drawn graphics directly over the footage to create a textured, expressive feel that feels true to the brand’s visual world. We also incorporated a handycam, VHS-style look in places, adding an analogue edge and sense of nostalgia that complements the contemporary fashion story.

The result is a piece that feels authentic and unpolished in the right way—balancing style and substance—while clearly demonstrating how Shopify underpins the brand’s growth across territories.
